Favourites (Presets)

Favourites are independent storage slots to save multiple LG setups and quickly switch between them. You should create one for every world, every LG setup you use often – without favourites you have to re-enter everything each time: building, level, factors, etc.

  • General Usage
    • Create a favourite first, then enter the LG data in it. Don't enter LG data and then try to save it in a new favourite.
    • In the calculator, all changes to a favourite are saved directly. On the preset page this is different – changes there only apply with "Save" (see below).
    • New favourites can be created in the selection menu by choosing "+New". A new preset with default values is created – the current setup is not copied over. When creating a new world, both the world name and the LG name are requested.
    • The Preset button opens the preset page where you can manage favourites and worlds.
  • Worlds
    • Favourites can be grouped into worlds. A world is like a folder containing multiple GB setups. The star ★ determines which world is currently visible – the selection then only shows the favourites from this world.
    • This lets you e.g. separate the LGs into different worlds or support factors. Example → World: Korch (world name), Zeus (favourite name).
    • Settlements: Since only one settlement can be active per world, there is no grouping here – just a list called "Worlds" that directly contains the individual civilisation setups.
  • Preset Page
    • Via the "Preset" button in the Arc-Calc you get to the preset page, where you can manage favourites and worlds.
    • + New – adds a new favourite or a new world (with default values).
    • Name ✎ – Label of the entry, renameable by clicking.
    • ✕ – Delete entry (with confirmation). If a world is deleted, the contained favourites are also deleted. If the last entry of a category is deleted, a new default entry is automatically created.
    • Delete All – Deletes all worlds or all buildings at once (with confirmation).
    • ▲ – Move entry one position up (sorting).
    • ★ – Mark active world. Green = active, grey = inactive.

Save / Cancel: All changes on this page (renaming, deleting, sorting) are only applied with "Save". "Cancel" reverts everything to the last saved state – so don't forget to save!

  • Quick Create
    • In the calculator itself there's a "+New" button in the favourite selection. Click it → popup(s) → enter name → done. A new preset with default values is created – the current setup is not copied over.

Tip: If you run multiple worlds in parallel, you can also open the favourites in separate browser tabs. Each tab remembers its own selection.
